Affiliate Terms and Conditions

Please read these terms carefully before applying to or participating in The Maze Affiliate Program (the “Program”). By applying to join, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms.

1. Approval and Participation

  • Manual Review: We manually review all affiliate applications. We reserve the right to approve or reject any application for any reason, at our sole discretion.
  • Accurate Information: You must provide accurate and complete information during registration, including your promotional methods and payout details.

2. Promotional Guidelines & Restricted Activities

To maintain the integrity of our brand, we expect our partners to act ethically.

  • No Brand Bidding (PPC): You are strictly prohibited from bidding on search engine keywords or pay-per-click (PPC) ads that contain our brand name, “The Maze“, or any variations/misspellings thereof.
  • No Self-Referrals: You cannot use your own affiliate link to purchase the product for yourself. Self-referrals will not qualify for commissions.
  • No Spamming: You may not share your affiliate link via unsolicited bulk emails (spam), public forum comment spam, or coupon/deal websites.
  • Honest Representation: You must describe The Maze accurately. Do not make false claims, unrealistic guarantees, or misrepresent what the product offers.

3. Cookies and Tracking

  • 90-Day Cookie: Referral tracking relies on a 90-day browser cookie. If a user clears their cookies, uses a different browser, or purchases after the 90-day window, the sale cannot be tracked and no commission will be awarded.
  • Last-Click Attribution: We operate on a “last-click” basis. If a lead clicks multiple affiliate links, the last link clicked before the purchase will receive the commission credit.

4. Commission Structure & Payouts

  • Commission Rates: You will earn a baseline 20% commission on qualified sales, which may scale up to 25% or 30% based on performance tiers and milestones as outlined on our main Affiliate Program page.
  • Excluded Costs: Commissions are calculated on the net product price. They exclude any taxes (such as EU VAT) and shipping fees.
  • Refund Grace Period (Holding Period): Commissions are marked as “Pending” and held for a 30-day grace period following the customer’s purchase. If a customer requests a refund or cancels their order during this period, the pending commission will be voided/rejected.
  • Payout Schedule: Approved commissions are processed monthly with no minimum payout threshold. Payouts are sent manually via PayPal within the first week of each calendar month for all commissions that have successfully cleared their 30-day grace period in the previous month.

4a. Promotional Incentives & Milestone Cash Bonuses

  • Discretionary Nature: Any milestone cash bonuses, seasonal promotions, or performance incentives offered by the Program are temporary and provided at our sole discretion.
  • Qualification: To qualify for a milestone cash bonus, all underlying sales must be fully completed, passed the 30-day refund grace period, and be completely free of any fraudulent activity or self-referral.
  • Right to Modify or End: We reserve the right to modify, pause, or completely terminate any cash bonus structures or promotional incentives at any time, with or without prior notice. Any such changes will not affect bonuses that were already officially earned and approved prior to the change.

5. Termination

Right to Modify: We reserve the right to update or modify these terms, commission structures, or milestone bonuses at any time. Active affiliates will be notified of major changes via email.

Violation of Terms: Any violation of these terms (including brand bidding, self-referrals, or spamming) will result in immediate termination from the Program and the forfeiture of any unpaid pending commissions.
